Article 240.6 has a 601Amp rated circuit breaker. Where is 601A rated breaker used?

Thanks.

Thanks jumper, for the correction and the link.

so, i guess a 601A fuse is larger than a 600A and is the same size as a 800A fuse?

Yes that is the purpose, to get a "600" amp fuse in an 800 amp fuse gap.

OK. so I assume that the size of the physical fuse also depends on the fuse type. Because on bussman there is "edison bullet" fuse that the 300Amp fuse is the physically the same size as the 800Amp. As you can tell i am educationally challenged when it comes to larger fuses.

Had to use them on 3 K-Mart stores I did in the mid 80's. Prints called for an 800 switch in the switchboard to feed a 600 amp panel. It was supposed to be 800 amp bussing in that section with a 600 amp switch.
