Need help and suggestion on finding the product to comply with the 610.12(A).
Flexible cord used to power the collector, and needs a terminal fitting to go from cord to exposed wiring that ...
"has a separately bushed hole for each conductor shall be used wherever a change is made from a raceway or cable to exposed wiring"

As always appreciate your help and expertise

Were I inspecting, I think my first question would involve the use of the flex cord. On the surface, that appears a violation of 400.8.
That said, the most common fitting I see to address 610.12(a) is a weatherhead,

Use of cord

Thanks for reply Augie,
My exact thoughts on the use of the cord but looking into 400.7(5) Wiring of cranes and hoists is permitted. Am I wrong?

The cord has 4 conductors size 10AWG stranded copper.

Perhaps a case of semantics on all fronts.
When you speak of suppling power to the collector, I picture "fixed" wring and "assume" a violation of 400.8.
To me, the use of cord under 400.7(A)(5) {cranes and hoists} would be where flexibility is necessary (do to moving parts of the crane of jib), but that's one man's opinion :)
