So it states within sight and more than 5’ unless a permanent barrier is installed.
So if a permanent barrier is installed how can it be within site of the tub.
A barrier blocks it. I guess only glass works lol.
Reason is owner built a fence with a gate around hot tub and now the gate blocks the line of sight.
I can just remove the door lol and then get inspected.
If the gates open it’s 7’ away. Such a dumb rule

Chain link would be within sight but be a barrier

Ya at this point have them take the door of the gate off and cut a small window move the deck a bit. You had the understanding with the HO that you'd do it for materials or something like that and they do this cover for the tub so they should try to make the cover and deck compliant.
