Hello,
Does anyone know where in 680.23 there is a reference to an underwater luminaire that is low voltage and has the power cord pre manufactured into the luminaire? The pool is in the ground with most of the dirt filled in. The 2 - luminaires are installed. Behind each luminaire there is a piece of 2" flexible white conduit coming out of the ground, exiting the conduit is the luminaire low voltage power cord, each cord appears to be long enough to reach the location where the transformer will be located about 50' away.
I am taking over a pool install where the original electrician is now sick. May have to dig up area around each luminaire if the inspector needs to see it. Also, have to see if the cord needs to be in conduit. Even if it does not have to be in conduit it would be a good idea to put it in conduit anyway.
