Would 680.41 apply to a motorized tub in a hotel room? Sure seems that way.

It would depend on whether this is a hot tub or a hydromassage bathtub.

Take a look at the definition of spa or hot tub and hydromassage bathtub in 680.2

Basically if you drain the tub after each use it would be a hydromassage bathtub and not a spa or hot tub and 680.41 would not apply.

To add on to what Raider said: This is probably what is commonly referred to as a whirlpool tub (a bathtub with a motor that circulates the water for a massaging effect). If so it falls under section VII of article 680 beginning with 680.70 (Hydro-massage tub). This only requires GFCI protection for the tub motor, bonding of the metallic parts of the tub, and GFCI protection for any 15 or 20 amp 120/volt receptacle within 6 feet of the tub.

Thank you both Raider and Haskimdm. Very helpful.
Glad you like the recipe, Billsnuff. Shellac-ing the board would seem like the right thing to do, since eating crow would come with a good shellac-ing......

Your Welcome.:)

I too, have partaken of my share of crow since joining this site, I prefer mine with a good wine sauce.:D
