Does anyone know if the six disconnect rule applies to the source circuits?

The 6 disconnect rule applies separately. There can be 6 disconnects for a PV system and 6 disconnects for the main service.

The question indicated for the source circuits which is exempt per the article I quoted (690.14(B)). 690.14(C)(4) does not apply to the source circuits. Source circuits are not the system circuits. System circuits are source circuits that are combined before entering the inverter.
