75 KVA transformer suspended 450.13(b)

I have a 75 kva transformer I am suspending above a drop ceiling, I seen 450.13(b) says something about not doing that
Is this legal or not?

Your code reference pretty answers your question. Your tranny is too large.

(B) Hollow Space Installations.
Dry-type transformers 1000 volts, nominal, or less and not exceeding 50 kVA shall
be permitted in hollow spaces of buildings not permanently
closed in by structure....

A 45kVA would be okay.

Not completely closed in by building structure, so if there's a an open ceiling on the other side of the wall than it can still be hung?

You can hang the 75kva just not above the hung ceiling. If it has to go there then you might need to re-engineer your installation to use a 50 kva or smaller transformer(s).

A portion of it is still above the hollow space so IMO it's not compliant.
