AUDIO SYSTEM CIRCUITS AND PLFA CIRCUITS AUDIO SYSTEM CIRCUITS DESCRIBED IN 640.9(C) AND INSTALLED USING CLASS 2 OR CLASS 3 WIRING METHODS IN COMPLIANCE WITH 725.54 AND 725.61 SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BE INSTALLED IN THE SAME CABLE OR RACEWAY WITH POWER-LIMITED CONDUCTORS OR CABLES.
Does the excluded "AUDIO SYSTEM CIRCUITS" mean the power limited speaker circuit of a fire alarm system?
I can see where this would apply to general paging or background music system circuits in with the power limited fire alarm circuits but the language is somewhat ambiguous.
The fundamental question is then: Where is the exception or distinction, (according to NFPA 70) between "Audio System Circuits" and "Fire Alarm Audio Circuits, Voice evacuation, Mass Notification Circuits"?
