Gentlepeople: I'm wiring a AHU with 10 KW backup heat. Looking at 334.80 it looks as though I'm limited to 40 amps at 60*. My calculated load is 41.6 (plus the fan moter?)Have I answered my own question, would #6 cu be required? I've seen a lot of #8 cu installed by HVAC people for the same application.Looking at 424.3B it looks as though my 41.6 just increased 125 percent.Thanks

If you can find 8/2 copper SE you could use that.
8/2 MC or AC would also work.
