I recently bid the installation of an 800A service as part of a motel to condo conversion project. The owner wanted a separate bid for the service and a price per unit for the interior wiring. This is a 7 unit project. I included the feeders as part of the interior portion of the bid. Here is what I came up with for the service. All items are SQ-D.

EZM1800CB ( 800A circuit breaker assembly ) 1ea
EZM125QOA ( QO circuit breaker adaptors ) 8 ea
QO2125 ( 2P 125 breakers ) 7 ea
QO 2100 ( 2P 100 breaker ) 1ea
EZML114225 ( 4 Position Meter Pack ) 2 ea

Misc. hardware, PVC, ground rods et al.

Labor and Material $ 6475.00

Owner thought this was " kind of high".......

Any thoughts?

Sounds pretty close for our area Tom. I ran it thru Accubid real quick and got a higher number. He really wouldn't like my price.

Using my labor units, not the NECA units it came loaded with, I would have sold it for around $7,800.00 permit, tax and all.

Thanks....I thought I gave him good price. If he thinks it's out of line, I'll tell him to get it done by someone else.
