Old/Current: ?The grounding conductor shall be connected in accordance with 820.40(B)(1) and (B)(2).?

Revised: ?The grounding conductor shall be connected in accordance with [at least one item in] 820.40(B)(1) [or] (B)(2).?

Substantiation: The current wording is incorrect with it?s intent. This change will help eliminate confusion about grounding.

In 2005/2008 NEC editions... 820.40(B) does not exist.

It was moved, corrected, and now the requirements are in [2008] 820.100(B)(1,2, or 3).
