Will the motor on a 855 smart bender 115 v dc run on 160 v dc ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I was on a job site where the 30 amp 220 twist-lock receptacles were very worn and a 20amp 120v would fit into them. One of my guy plugged in a Skill saw and said, "this thing sounds awful but DAMN, it goes like Hell!!!
