8kw vs 15kw Heat strip

I am in the market for a new HVAC system. I had about 4-5 different companies come in to give me a quote, and of course all companies are telling me something different...Not surprised though. however all but one said that i needed a 15kw heat strip and the other one said 15kw is too big and i need an 8kw. I live in a townhouse middle unit if that matters? i have a basement, 1st floor and 2nd Floor. I really don't know who to trust when it comes to this. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

This is an electrical forum. You need to do a calculation for heat loss to determine what size unit you need.

Sorry we cannot help. I would suggest trying to find a reputable company and hope for the best otherwise you need to pay someone to do the calculations
