When did romex start having 90 C conductors? Many of the light fixtures state that they should only be connected to supply conductors rated for 90 C. I know that the new romex meets this requirement and that houses built before 1986 don't. The problem that I'm having is when I come across a house that doesn't have THHN but was built after 1986, say 1987. Thank you for any help. I don't want to install a fixture where I should not.
