90 degree connectors

The correct boxes and fittings are easy, wait till you try to find wire nuts specifically listed for Green, White, Black and Red MC conductors. Don't forget the MC listed blank covers for all the j-boxes.

That's being a little bit short sighted. 90 degree connectors are right handy in a few cases. When fishing MC cable down to an existing box, putting an MC connector on the end to come in a knockout in the back or side of a box is sometimes what you have to do. Also, for appearance's sake (and maybe even to keep the cable from "snapping"), 90 degree connectors are the thing to use to keep exposed cable laying nice. Coming out of a water heater, for instance.

Mdshunk. I'm sorry if you misinterpreted me. The post and my statements were about ninety connectors in concealed applications. If at all possible, I try using a straight connector instead of a ninety in a wall or where concealed by building finish. There are times where it IS efficient to use them.

I think a ninety connector looks absolutely beautiful in exposed work.
