After reading UL listing for circuit breakers under 125A, and talking to cutler hammer rep, I found out than when using equipment (starters and breakers) that are listed for 75C you must use the 75C column when sizing conductors even when using 90C wire (we use THHN-2).

My question is where, other than 110.3 (B), is this listed in the NEC?

Thanks guys:smile:

You may find it also interesting to note that the uof 90degC wire is required when applying 100% rated breakers. However, that wire if still applied at 75degC.
