Is there a code requirement that requires a small a/c condensate pump to be on it's own circuit, or can i feed it off a nearby general use ( ltg., power, ect..not bathroom or s.a. circuit ) ? installing power to an new a/c, would use a 120 v condensate pump with a shutdown safety switch...

You can supply it from the air-handler circuit or a general-purpose circuit.
:) brings back vivid memories when inspecting and more than once finding the 120v condensate connected to one of the heat strip 30/60 amp breakers and the neutral wrapped around a heat strip mounting screw. ..... "why did I get a red tag"

I'm certainly not suggesting that.

Isn't it or wasn't it in the code that the condensate pump can't be on the air handler circuit?
