A/C disconnect box

Hello everyone- so I was just on a job today and noticed that the a/c unit calls for 30 amps 120 volts. They have it wired just like it was 240 in the disconnect . Is this ok? I have only seen and wired 240 units. It is a fusible disconnect and it does only say 240 on the disconnect. Thanks guys

The problem would be with it being a fusible disconnect. 240.22 prohibits over-curent devices in the grounded conductor.

I had this on a mini split a while back.
I tied the neutral through so that it would look more obvious that it's 120v and not 240 volts.

But having the 2-pole disconnect is good in case the unit ever got changed to 240v

I agree, just splice the neutral or buy a disconnect with terminals for the neutral connection.
