In a recent electrical seminar I attended, there was a question and answer period and one of the questions pertained to a/c disconnects. It was mentioned, without detail, that it is not approved to use, for lack of a better description, a 'pull out fuse' type of disconnect. I am referencing to '02 430.109. These are generally seen in sight of the air conditioner compressor unit. Are 'pull out fuse' types acceptable or not acceptable.
