I want to know how it is that a combine chute was high enough to hit a "high-tension line", or vice versa; why was a HT line low enough to be hit by a combine chute. Or what are they considering to be a "high-tension" line? 480V?

Something is missing from that AP story, but that doesn't surprise me in the least.

Happened here too, not so long ago, you need to read two short accounts to get the full story: version1 version2 I think the son was incredibly lucky not to get zapped too.

Lots of bad things happen on farms.

Don't know about the equipment in NJ, but the stuff here is LARGE. Something a bit low and trouble is just over the hill.
