I have an ABB circuit breaker that has an electronic trip unit that needs to have its trip setting changed while it is in the ON position.

The breaker is an ABB, SACE-S4 250 amp breaker with a SACE PR211 trip unit.
The setting that needs to change is the L longtime setting from 0.4 (100a) to 0.6 (150a).

Will the breaker trip when making this change and will the sensor use the correct value without turning the breaker off to make the change?

This is on a UPS that has been upgraded and the UPS tech forgot to change the breaker settings so now they need to be changed while the unit is online.

The trip unit will default to the lowest setting when you change the settings. It looks like you are already at the lowest setting (Hard to see) so it should not trip. Then again it is a SACE so you never know. :)

Yes, it is at the lowest setting.
Have you worked on the ABB SACE breakers?
Do they have any problems that you know of?

I have a ton of them in my shop now. We work on them on a regular basis. We can discuss any problems via PM.
