about the "sure test" meter

Has anyone any comments on Ideal's "Sure Test" meter? Have you experience using it, especially as compared to any other megger? What about its reliability? Finally, were you taught, in any courses, that a Sure test is OK to use? Appreciate all responses.:roll:

I use the 61-958 almost regularly for residential service finding buried boxes and have used it for commercial circuit tracing. I have even been able to trace a underground line from a garage some 100 yds to a apartment building. Just today I used it to trace a cat5 cable back to the punch down block to locate a breaker to shut off a circuit and trace a disconnected electric baseboard line. I love this thing as it has saved me a good deal a time in many instances. As far as megging I am not aware it is capable of this and I learned by using it but have some training using a underground located which it very similar to.
