We have a steel pipe rack (~25ft high) recently constructed for piping support only. There are no Electrical raceways or enclosures supported through this rack.
This rack is not grounded to earth.
My question is: is it really needed/mandated by code? knowing that there are no electrical component/equipment supported by this rack?
