Good morning,
I have the the electrical system done on our new above ground pool, but now just started bonding the pool. My question is with the #8 wire. Do it have to be a continuous 1 section of wire start to finish? I only have a pump and pool to bond, no other metal, lights etc. I would like to go from the lug on my pump around the pool and and end at the 9sq inch plate in the skimmer, then go back to the 4 evenly spaced metal support post and attach a lug to each and attach a 2ft piece to the #8 copper wire I ran around the pool with a direct burial connector. Any help with this will save me some trouble with the inspector. It's Saturday, and my call to him went to voicemail.

Thank you for your help
