I have a customer who is installing an above ground pool .The pool has a 110v cord and plug light .My question is this if I need my Gfi 10 feet from the pool how do I avoid a cord being draped 10 feet across the lawn ?

the pool companies that i do work for don't offer random placement of the light as an option. the light fixture and the water supply nozzle, coming from the pump, are a one piece unit that require cutting only one hole in the side of the pool. if a customer insisted on a light on the opposite end...i would run an underground circuit to a single outlet mounted on a post 5 feet from the pool. if the check is big enough....anything is possible.Pierre C Belarge said:How would you supply that light if it was on the opposite side of the above ground pool from the pump?
