I've been used to bonding a #6 to all foot flanges of the pool, and to the pump motor..a pool guy yesterday stated this wasn't necessary as long as I bonded the pool motor to the nearest foot flange. His position being that the perimiter shell and uprights are mechanically put together with nuts and bolts.
His arguement almost makes sense, but most sparkies I've talked to, always looped the perimiter...
There is no superceeding code authority in this area, so it's strictly a code matter...
What say ya'll?
