I understand how to bond all equipment and metal components together but my question is where does the bonding wire terminate to. Do I attach to a rod that is put into the ground or do I terminate to the main panel or do I just bond everything together and leave it at that. Thanks

We are not allowed to answer DIY questions per forum rules. You are advised to hire a qualified pool electrician for your safety, to ensure electrical permits/inspections, and for your homeowners insurance requirements.

And pool wiring has very specific equal potential bonding requirements around the pool. Failure to have this can result in a fatal shock.
