I have a machine that has 24v DC control power for all the contactors. I am adding a waste conveyor to it that will get its power from a separate A.C. source. I am going to come out of the Machine to use the 24v DC control power. Where the supply power conduit meets the control power conduit do I need two pipes out to the separate motor or can I combine them? AC and DC in the same pipe. Code References would be great.

There's no problem with AC and DC in the same conduit but your DC circuit sounds like it's an Article 725 circuit, which makes it more complicated.

My understanding is that you can run the circuits in the same conduit as long as you wire your DC with class 1 methods. And this is only true because they are 'functionally associated'. No conduit sharing is allowed for circuits that are not going to the waste conveyor.
