can i install ac control wiring in the same raceway with load conductors if i install overcurrent protection on the load side of the control transformer?

Re: AC control wiring

this sounds like its an article 725 class 1 non power limited remote control circuit.
See 725.23 for over current protection
See 725.26 (B)(1) for the requirements for sharing a raceway

Are you talking about putting the thermostat wiring in with the power supply conductors? If so and it's typical thermostat wire, no.

Re: AC control wiring

the control wire is rated for 600 volts.

Re: AC control wiring

domnic,
You have the 600v wire rating covered if it's UL listed for the application. As long as you protect the control circuit as would normally be done there are no other provisions that you have to provide.
The only caution is that interference may be induced into the control wiring form the power conductors. With some electronic control there is a possibility that it may not work correct which often times can be address with a small modification if it is a problem.

Re: AC control wiring

The simple answer is no.

If you want to go through the trouble of reclassifying the circuit and wiring all the control wiring as a class 1 method, knock your socks off. But in most cases this will be more expensive and labor intensive that keeping the control circuit isolated.
