Ac high voltage and low voltage

I installed a sub panel that is just for the ac condenser and air handler. The circuits are installed with 2 separate conduits one going to the air handler and 1 to the air condenser. I installed the control wiring with #14 THHN rated 600 volts from the air handler through the conduit then through the ac panel through the conduit to the condenser. I read article 725.48(b)1. It is a class 2 transformer.
I know it mentions class 1, i have seen tons of condos were they have done this. I have failed an inspection for this and it is a major job to install the low voltage separately.
What is the article to make this right or solution to fix this problem?

Class 2 conductors cannot be in a raceway with power conductors even if their insulation values are the same. Take a look at Article 725, here's a section:

725.136 Separation from Electric Light, Power, Class 1, Non?Power-Limited Fire Alarm Circuit Conductors, and Medium-Power Network-Powered Broadband Communications Cables.
(A) General. Cables and conductors of Class 2 and Class 3 circuits shall not be placed in any cable, cable tray, compartment, enclosure, manhole, outlet box, device box, raceway, or similar fitting with conductors of electric light, power, Class 1, non?power-limited fire alarm circuits, and medium-power network-powered broadband communications circuits unless permitted by 725.136(B) through (I).
(B) Separated by Barriers. Class 2 and Class 3 circuits shall be permitted to be installed together with the conductors of electric light, power, Class 1, non?power-limited fire alarm and medium power network-powered broadband communications circuits where they are separated by a barrier.
(C) Raceways Within Enclosures. In enclosures, Class 2 and Class 3 circuits shall be permitted to be installed in a raceway to separate them from Class 1, non?power-limited fire alarm and medium-power network-powered broadband communications circuits

Is there any other way to correct this besides running new conduit an separating this? Can i change the transformer to class 1 ( do they even make this)?
Was it in the code at one time you could do this because in south florida there are tons of condos witch have the low voltage even running through the panels from the condenser to the air handler. When we have had panel changes there would be no way to relocate the low voltage cause there is only one pipe to the roof!!

If you change transformer or reclassify it you will also have to change thermostat or other devices connected to control system to be rated for class 1 circuits.

Why do you need to install a raceway that is what CL2 cables are for? If you are looking for only 1 penetration through a roof how does the refirgerant lines get through the roof? You can likely run through same place.
