What is the formula to calculate the leakage current on the 33 KV Gas Insulated switch gear using AC hi pot tester?

If you have any way of accurately measuring the capacitance of the equipment under test, then you could calculate the amount of capacitive reactance, and your VARs, and then you'd be able to tell what component of your test current was actually leakage in real power.

Somebody would need to double check this, but I'll take a stab at it:

VAr = V^2/Xc
VAr = 1.089kV/(1/[2*Pi*F*C])
VAr = 1.089kV/(1/[377*C]
W^2 = VA^2 - VAr^2
