Access Control Help

Have a submittal for Miami- Dade that I am working on. Helping out another team on this since I am more accustomed to FA.
Issue I am having is that through plan review they are asking a ton of questions. The scope of work is for a business occupancy installing 2 card readers that open a door via electric strike. Connecting to an existing access system in place. The door in question leads to a secure space from a waiting room. A card reader on either side of the same door. Does this door require loss of power due to fire alarm? I am think yes but want to make sure I am not leading the customer down the wrong path.
I may have follow up questions. Is there a really robust resource I a can use online to learn more about this topic. I seems to get confusing at time electric strikes and magnetic locks with life safety.
Thank you

Making some generalizations here as I don't know the specifics of your hardware set or access control devices.

If the door is locked in the direction of egress (ie, if you you need to get through the access-controlled door to exit the building but can't open the door without providing credentials) then the door needs to open upon alarm event from the FACP (smoke detector, sprinkler flow/pressure, etc.). In addition, the door also needs a manual request-to-exit button to get out. This would be used in the event you need to exit the building but not because of a fire. All of this is in NFPA 101, chap 7.2.

Not sure if there is a robust resource regarding all of this. Maybe just ask someone on the other team? I essentially picked up all this through working on projects and asking questions.
