I believe they are based on the NECA labor units.

Their competitive column is only as good as the productivity of the guys actually doing the work.

When you do a take off, you need to include all of the parts required to get all of the labor.

I also think all labor units are based off of NECA units. Most programs just take a percentage off of there unit for different instances. You will always have to go through and adjust them for different things like multiple fixtures in a area, pipes on a rack and multiple wires in a conduit. Some programs will not deduct anything for multiple wires in a raceway, they think it takes 9 times as long to pull in then if there was a single wire.

You will always want to go to the job extension screen and look for anything out of place.
