I can only see that it is listed for direct burial but nothing says it is listed for encasement in concrete. Anyone know of any that are?

I ask because there is a debate as to whether or not DB means simply direct burial in earth or direct burial in earth and/or concrete

From the 2006 UL White Book, Page 123 (PDF p.161):

Ground clamps and other connectors suitable for use where buried in
earth or embedded in concrete are marked for such use. The marking may
be abbreviated ??DB?? (for ??Direct Burial??).

Listed ground clamps are also suitable for telecommunication applications,
such as telephone, radio, CATV and the like, in accordance with Articles
800, 810, 820 and Section 250.94 of the NEC, in addition to those covered
under Grounding and Bonding Equipment, Communication (KDSH).
Listed irreversible compression type connectors are suitable for splicing
the grounding electrode conductor.
Clamps are intended for use with rod and/or pipe electrodes in accordance
with the NEC and are marked with the size of electrode and electrode
grounding conductor with which the clamp is intended to be used.
Clamps suitable for use on copper water tubing are marked for such use.
Clamps intended for use with re-bar are marked with the size of re-bar
with which the clamp is intended to be used.

One of my suppliers just started selling us a ss version that they tell me is good for rebar, rod, concrete & direct burial. Don't remember the mfg.

Manufactured by the Co of, Duey, cheatem,& How.

Just slip a 12" piece of 2 1/2" pvc deep into the pour and cut the pvc flush when it hardens. Install a femalecap with a cleanout plug flush so it does not collect water and freeze cracking the concrete.

That's Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe, but who's counting?

You oughta know.

I don't understand... what's this for?:-?

I researched it myself over a year ago. Some of the model numbers may no longer be accurate, or there could be some errors and omissions...

This is reason for the post. I could not approve this for more than one reason. I wanted to make sure that there was a listed product available locally for what he wanted to do.
