We are working on a muti-family housing authority project that requires ADA compliant door bell with push button and visual signaling device for hearing impaired dwelling unit. Do you have any products that recommend?

And the housing authority ask to include the AIA master specification into the spec book for the product. I don't even know the section for the doorbell system and the standards. Found some Edwards products for the door bell system but can not find the specification document.

Try Grainger, they sell them, and should have spec sheets. I have built my own for one of the big box stores, one for a deaf receiving dock employee, another for a deaf vault employee, excuse me, “bookkeeping” employee. (Home Depot says they don’t have a vault) LOL!

I'm also very hard of hearing. Thought that may make I nice project for my shop in the basement (already put a door bell there), but liked the idea of the strobe catching my attention. I put your question into the Microsoft Edge software called CoPilot (AI). It came back with Grainger and another place called: www.hearworldusa.com

I use an Edwards 7005-G5 kit. About $150-175. Doesn't sound very pleasant but serves the purpose.

I recently had to use another product from Housing Devices inc. ADA121. Twice the price and had to wait 5 weeks while they made it here in Massachusetts. More sophisticated unit though.
