add a depth rings NEC 314.20

I have an installation where the contractor decided to put 3/4" plywood over the drywall. The mud rings are now set back 3/4" from the surface. As this is a violation of 314.20 does anyone know of a listed product that could help?:?

I agree with Jumper just get the correct box extender and you're good to go.
