IF the new panel is being fed from the existing panel and they both in the same building you only need a properly sized feeder to the new panel with an EGC complying with 250.122, 250.118What do you mean shown with the feeder? The NEC doesn't say when it is not needed but will tell you when a GEC for a sub panel is needed. 250.32.Got it and thank you. Where in the NEC does it refer to this not needed?
