adding a receptacle to bathroom lighting circuit

I am wondering if I am allowed to add a receptacle for a bedroom to a 15A circuit that is currently only dedicated to lighting (2 recessed lights and one vanity light) and an exhaust fan for one bathroom. I know NEC generally requires bathroom lights and receptacles to be on two different circuits, but can't find anything that disallows other 15A receptacles to be combined on a circuit with the lights. Thanks.
