I'm wanting to add a shop to my existing house and have 200 amp. service. I'm wanting to add a 100 amp load center to shop. What size conduit is required to run from main load center to new load center at shop?

Chapter 9 covers the requirements and tables to be used for sizing conduit installations. Table 4 for raceway information, and table 5 for conductor dimensions.

You did not specify in your question the type of raceway system or the conductor insulation type you plan on using for your installation.

Start with article 310.16 to size the conductors, then go to 250.32 and use the total number and combination of conductors that would apply to the way you are going to feed the building, and then size the conduit per Chapter 9.
