When adding a sub panel using power from an existing panel single phase 240 v. How should I ground the sub panel. The sub panel has a neutral bar on the right side which is bonded to a neutral / equipment ground bar on the left side. The panel also has a seperate ground bar that is not neutral bonded. Should the equipment grounds go on the seperate ground bar or the neutral bonded bar ? Should the neutral bar be bonded to the panel.Should the main ground from the main panel be seperated ? Please help !

Re: Adding a sub panel

Assuming the existing sub-panel is already a 4-wire setup, the new subpanel should be setup the same way. The neutral & ground should stay separate and the neutral should not be bonded to the panel or ground.
