Hi all,
I am going back and forth here. Residential panel swap to 225A mains, 200A MCB to accommodate for 70A solar OCP. The panel is currently recessed on the exterior and stuccoed over. The client has a handful of ideas when it comes to future electrical circuits so I think potentially leaving behind some spares with pull strings routed to an adjacent junction box may make sense since the stucco will be removed and the new panel will be easy to access.
Is this the right idea here? Has anyone seen or done this, or have any alternates that they have seen in the field that has been neat. This all would be exterior to the building.
