I am adding an outlet to a screened porch and have question about GFCI protection. I am tapping off of an outlet in the garage on the other side of the wall. That circuit is already GFCI protected, so would I still need to use a separate GFCI receptacle in the screened porch? Or is it covered by the GFCI plug protecting the garage circuit?
