The sub panel will be about 2000 ft from main panel. what size wire do I need ? thinking #2 or will 2 be over kill ?
would the sub need to be 100 amp or can I do less?
needed at the sub is
240 v for small hot tub
3 gfci Thinking GFCI breakers in sub
2 light switches
yearly xmas lights
it is my understanding that there has to be a shut off about 5 ft away for the hot tub. Would the sub panel being less than 15 away work as a disconnect ?
