Wasn't sure where to put this, so if the moderator wishes to post in another Forum, be my guest.
My posting is a bit dated relative to the current release of the 2011 NEC . . .
I've just been watching the "Special Occupancies" DVD and Brian stated only one place had adopted Annex E - Types of Construction in the US and that was "one city in Texas"(02:49:30).
For what it's worth, I think that California's adaptation of Nat'l Electrical Code (California Electrical Code 2010 [CA Title 24, Part 3, re: pages 70-771.2]), at least one agency adopted
Annex E in full: specifically the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).
If someone thinks otherwise, let me know; I'm fairly new at this.
