Advertising with YELP

Without asking, I received a number of good reviews with YELP. YELP is now asking me to advertise with them.

Anyone on the forum wish to share their successes, failures, thoughts about adverting with YELP?

I have been approached by them many times. I just don't see the ROI on that kind of advertising. I don't think their advertising is consistant. i mean you banner ad will NOT come up every time someone searches for electrician. You go in loop of # of people advertising and your ad will pop up when it is your turn in the loop.

Besides when you do a search for something on YELP have you ever paid any attention on the advertised banners?
