Advertizing on the Internet

I hope this isn't out of line, I spend almost no time on this section of the forum.

I've been sort of working with a few contractors and I'm interestd in what the best way to advertize on the internet might be.

The first concern I have is not being seen because the search engines put that which pays them up first.

My second concern is, can this be overted?

Thirdly, How do the people here that engage in this form of advertizing deal with whatever strangeness that exists in this medium.

I'm sure I have further questions, and I do. But any help would be imensely appreciated.

try searching in your area with different terms like electrician with zip codes or electrical contractor etc; and see whos ad is consistently coming up then see what they are using there are small co. that are cheaper with no pay per click try http://www.elocalelectricians.com/
