I work in Michigan.We don't have to use AFCI breakers yet.My question is this.If all bedrooms have to have AFCI breakers.What about smoke alarm circuits in bedrooms.I would think you would need another AFCI breaker for the smoke alarms.With these smoke alarms being interconnected.It's not a good idea to put the smoke alarm on it's own circuit.
