Does 20 amp circuit for Gas Air handler and Condensing Unit have to be Afci protected. Also the jacuzzi tub calls for two seperate 15 amp circuits, do they have to be Afci protected As well. I would say no to the air handler and Condenser but yes to the jacuzzi ckts.

The bathroom is not on the list in 210.12(B), so it does not require AFCI protection. If the A/C equipment is not installed in the locations specified in 210.12(B), it will not require AFCI protection. Also, check the voltage in the same section.

Jacuzzi tubs require GFCI

Jacuzzi tubs require GFCI

Check the Jacuzzi install sheet. You'll find this in several places: "A separate circuit, which must be protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), is required for the pump. For the optional in-line heater, an additional circuit protected with a GFCI is required. One or both GFCI units must be located such that it can be tested on a regular basis." Since the tub skirt is difficult to remove, I install the GFCI units at the panel.
