Hey how about some of you engineers designers to develop a panel that sets off an alarm when an afci condition exists and ties the alarm to all branch circuits and or shuts that circuit down through a relay system within a panel. You could tie it in to the smoke alarm system or have a separate audible alarm. Dont forget to throw me a few bones when you pattent it PLEASE!! Rather than a rely on extremely complex expensive breakers which are subject to nuisance trips to cure the problem. Eat more chicken!! Why are we tying every system complexly through the ocp device??? To make it complex and possibly fail?? Keep it simple stupid rings a bell.
