If you are changing a panel location from a closet and making the old panel a junction box and the new panel outside just behind it, will you have to install AFCI protection (modified existing circuits) . Sometimes this can be expensive and my concern is that with the additional cost some people will opt to leave it alone and what if this a Federal Pacific panel that we all have come to fear
